- Send account messages and notifications (email/SMS/WhatsApp) based on your preferences.

Location is used to map issues and route reports to the appropriate area. Media uploads help provide evidence and context.
Please avoid uploading sensitive personal content unrelated to the issue.

We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with trusted service providers (e.g., hosting, email/SMS/WhatsApp delivery,
cloud storage) strictly to operate the Platform, with relevant institutions for resolution workflows (issue-related data only),
or when required by law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards (secure connections, access controls, and secure password handling).
No system is 100% secure; please protect your credentials.
6. Retention
We retain data as needed to provide services, maintain transparency of civic issues, comply with legal obligations,
and protect Platform integrity. You may request account deletion subject to public-interest and legal retention needs.

9. False, misleading, and malicious reports
Users must not submit false, misleading, exaggerated, or malicious reports, or upload manipulated media that misrepresents facts.
We may review, flag, limit visibility, remove content, or suspend accounts involved in misuse, and retain relevant data for
investigation, audit, or legal purposes.

Terms of Service
By using CConnectGH, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

- You retain ownership of your content, but grant us a limited license to store, display, and process it to operate the Platform.
- You confirm you have rights to any content you upload (photos/videos/voice notes).
- We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
5. Verification and moderation
We may label reports as “unverified”, request clarification, or limit visibility where accuracy is in doubt.
We may share issue details with relevant institutions to support resolution.
6. No official endorsement
Unless explicitly stated, CConnectGH is not an official government service and does not guarantee that any authority
will respond, act, or resolve issues. Timelines can vary.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages,
or for decisions made based on user-submitted content.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security risks, or legal reasons.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

3. No guaranteed resolution
We do not guarantee that any report will be acted upon by an authority. Resolution depends on responsible institutions,
available resources, and priorities.
4. Sensitive data
Avoid posting personal data about others (phone numbers, addresses, identification documents) unless necessary and lawful.
We may remove content that risks privacy or safety.
Community Guidelines
These guidelines help keep CConnectGH useful, respectful, and trustworthy.
1. Be truthful and specific
- Report real issues in good faith. No false, misleading, or exaggerated reports.
- Use clear titles, accurate locations, and helpful descriptions.
- Upload real photos/videos/voice notes relevant to the issue.
2. Respect people and communities
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or defamation.
- No naming-and-shaming private individuals unnecessarily.
3. Protect privacy
- Do not upload IDs, private addresses, or sensitive personal data (yours or others) unless essential and lawful.
- Blur faces/plates where appropriate.
4. Illegal or unsafe content
- No illegal content, incitement, or instructions for wrongdoing.
- No malware, phishing, or attempts to breach systems.
5. Enforcement
We may remove content, limit visibility, request more info, or suspend accounts for guideline violations.
Responsible Subscriber Code of Conduct
“Responsible subscribers” may include assembly members, MPs, district officials, NGOs, community leaders, or service providers
who can act on issues. Approval may be required.
1. Act professionally
- Engage respectfully with citizens and institutions.
- Do not use the Platform to intimidate, defame, or mislead.
2. Handle data carefully
- Use report data only for legitimate civic action and follow applicable laws/policies.
- Do not share personal details beyond what is necessary for resolution.
3. Transparency
- When providing updates, be accurate and avoid promises you cannot keep.
- Clearly indicate when an update is “in review”, “in progress”, or “resolved”.
4. No conflicts / abuse
Do not solicit bribes, favors, or personal gain. Any abuse may result in removal of responsible status or account suspension.
5. Enforcement
We may revoke responsible subscriber privileges, remove content, or suspend accounts for violations.
